The Law of Attraction Explained

Introduction

To have the law of attraction explained doesn't require one to have any previous metaphysical knowledge of universal laws. What it does require however is an open mind. First, while you want to have a mind that's open to new ideas and adaptable to existing ones, you don't want your mind to be so wide open that your brains fall out. That's just a cute old saying that it still very viable today.

Because of the sudden increased popularity to know about the law of attraction, which is due to the over dramatic and self-serving movie, The Secret, there seem to be lots of new websites popping up everywhere mimicking what the secret teaches, but with the focus on money.

However, it's important to know that the Law of Attraction can be practiced in all other areas of your life as well, and some areas are easier to work with than others.

Law of Attraction Explained

A Metaphysical Universal Law

From a metaphysical belief system, there are many universal laws in existence, many of which are closely related. However, there seems to be only one that non metaphysical students have an interest in, and that is the law of attraction, known in short as LOA.

This is just a brief page, mainly catered to the beginners or the confused that want to have the law of attraction explained in the simplest and quickest terms.

Simply put, the law of attraction is a universal law that states, "like attracts like", or as you may have heard before, "where your attention goes, your energy flows".

Now, I'm sure you've heard the term "vibration" before. You often hear people say, "I'm feeling the vibes". The law of attraction and vibration go hand in hand. Whatever level you are vibrating at consciously or subconsciously will determine your LOA results.

LOA is more complex than the idea that positive thinking brings positive results and negative thinking brings negative results. While that's a good place to start, there are many problems with that general blanket statement and could lead to disappointment and the putting down of oneself if you try judge your life experiencee by it.

When discussing LOA, A cause and effect relationship is usually at play and this may be going on at a conscious or subconscious level.

Many people struggle with the idea that one would intentionally attract an accident or bad relationship into their existence. They say, "My attention wasn't on getting mugged", or "My attention wasn't on getting in a car accident, so why did it happen?" If that's your question too, stick with me because I'm planning on devoting a whole section on the main page with some theories as to why this may occur.

Concluding View

So if you want the law of attraction explained in the least amount of words just to get an idea of what's taking place, the best definition I could think of would be, A Universal Law that behaves in harmony with whatever your current energy or vibration is locked onto at the time, be it consciously or subconsciously, resulting in those conditions, events, circumstances, people etc, aligned and attracted into your physical reality experience. How's that for a run on sentence?
