Information on The College of Metaphysical Studies

Just some brief information on The College of Metaphysical Studies. This college located in Clearwater Florida, has been going since 1986. So it's definitely not a newcomer on the metaphysical college front.

The course selection at this college is overwhelming. There are courses covering just about every area that you can think of. Each course may be used towards one of the degree programs offered at this school.

The courses are broken down by lessons. The description of the lessons of each course is impressive as well, as it details what exactly to expect for that particular course. Some courses have less than 10 lessons while others have more than 20 or 30 lessons.

The College of Metaphysical Studies offers multiple degree programs. They are as follows:

Online/On Campus

Most metaphysical colleges offer only online learning, but The College of Metaphysical Studies offers both. At this time, I'm not sure if the campus is an actual small college campus or if it's just a small empty rented out suite in a shopping complex.I'd imagine that most of the students will opt for the distance learning due to travel constraints.

The cost of courses at The College of Metaphysical Studies varies. They can be a bit pricey, but it's dependent upon the amount of lessons. For example, as of the time this page was written, the cost of a course with 7 lessons might be $40.00, while the cost of a a course with 32 lessons might be over $200.00.

The prices I mentioned are just to be used as a guideline as there are variations depending upon the material. Some of the classes with lower lessons can be quite expensive as well, so they obviously factor more into it than just the quantity of lessons. However if the quality in the lessons is good(which I can't verify at this time), then the cost might be worth it.

Concluding View

As already mentioned, The College of Metaphysical Studies offers a very large course selection, and the serious student of metaphysics may find this school to his or her liking. The variety of degree programs really allows the student to tailor what's offered to his or her own needs. Also, the fact that the school has been around since 1986 is also promising as well. I tend to be more skeptical and cautious of schools that have popped up within the last 5 years or so.

So if you are looking for a metaphysical college that offers a large selection of metaphysical courses, then The College of Metaphysical Studies might be exactly what you are looking for. Of course no matter where you get a metaphysical degree, don't expect recruiters to come knocking down your door wanting to hire you.

Any type of employment you obtain via a metaphysical degree will more than likely have to come through your own self-employment, i.e., Spiritual Counseling, Unity Church work, etc...

Sure the college might be a pricey way to do get an education in metaphysics, but knowledge alone is power. So with that said, if you hunger for an educations in metaphysics, this college might be worth investigating.
