Clairvoyance Definition

clairvoyance definition

A Clairvoyance definition explained in just a couple of sentences would be, the perception of objects or events at a distance. The perception of these objects / events can be done in either the past or the future.

A Clairvoyant is able to perceive these types of events outside of the normal range of physical senses.

Some Spirit Mediums have a gift of clairvoyance and are able to utilize this extrasensory gift during their readings.

To give an example as to how clairvoyance is used in today's world, many psychics with clairvoyant abilities have worked with the police to locate the body of a crime victim and a few have even done this fairly successfully. Many others have been able to locate objects etc.

Clairvoyance is also related to clairaudience and clairsentience. In fact, one might say that both clairaudience and clairsentience are subsets of clairvoyance.

The main thing to keep in mind here is that clairaudience and clairsentience deal with "sensing/feeling" and "hearing" whereas clairvoyance deals with the perception of events that have either taken place in the past or have yet to take place in the future.

The jury is still out on just how accurate clairvoyance can be, but the positive results sometimes successfully obtained when psychics have worked with police seem to far outweigh coincidence and chance.

It can't be overstated that just like clairaudience, clairsentience and any other extrasensory perception, clairvoyance isn't an exact science.
